Anima Online Same Day Access Service From the 1st May 2024
Telephone requests will be available from 8.00am-9.30am
Anima online requests will be available from 8.00am-10.30pm
We are aware that there can be lengthy queues on our telephone system and we want to encourage our patients to sign up and use the online Anima system to free up the telephone for those that cannot access online systems. Our reception staff use the same questionnaire templates that are on Anima so by calling the practice this blocks the phone lines and causes lenghty queues which is what we would like to avoid.
Please be aware to enable us to free up our phones if you call in the staff will redirect you to use the Anima system.
Anima has several functions;
- Avoids lengthy queues in the phone system
- Enables you to communicate directly back and forth with a doctor, bypassing reception.
- Helps you to self-diagnose using a symptom checker and self-help information
- Helps you to determine the most appropriate place to go to get help with your condition - which may be your local pharmacy or the national 111 help line
- Provides a mechanism to submit a secure and confidential consultation DIRECT to your GP
- Enables sending an electronic request to your GP for a 'Sick/Fit Note' and other administration reasons
- A convenient way to contact the Practice

- A doctor or other appropriate member of the team will get back to you, within one working day with feedback and treatment options
