8.00am - 6.30pm Monday - Friday.


The practice is open for pre booked extended hour appointments from 6.30 - 7.00pm


This excludes Bank Holidays and Training Days



The Practice will be Closed on the following afternoons for training from 12.30pm

ABINGTON MEDICAL CENTRE - MISSION STATEMENT

Abington Medical Centre is a long established GP surgery that aspires to be professional, friendly and dedicated in providing high quality personalised medical care to all members of the practice community.

 We undertake to:

  • Treat patients fairly and equally, with respect and dignity at all times
  • Provide you with advice and treatment in a timely manner
  • Listen, communicate and collaborate  effectively
  • Discuss available treatments and refer you on to other experts where necessary
  • Maintain confidentiality in what we discuss and the records we keep on your behalf
  • Keep up to date with developments in health care by continuing to learn
  • Provide an environment which is clean, safe, and conducive to high quality patient care

 In return we ask patients to:

  • Keep your appointment and/or let us know as soon as possible if you can't attend
  • Only use urgent out-of-hours services for urgent conditions which can't wait until the next day or over the weekend
  • Be polite and courteous to our staff
  • Let us know if you have any suggestions or cause for complaint as soon as possible
  • Let us know when we have done well
